                             The 'Splodey Thus Far
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nakko was getting along just fine with her new girlfriend Bazookie, when all of
a sudden, disaster struck! After a thousand years or so, some kind of evil witch
is free, and she's done the one thing that really gets Nakko's gun: sealed away
the power of rockets! Now it's up to Nakko and Bazookie to go all over and under
Ears to get back what is rocketfully theirs!

- General Tips -

@ Rocket Reliance
Remember: with her rocket pack out of commission, Nakko must rely on Bazookie!
If you see something you're not sure about, try shooting it with a missile!

@ Realize the Recoil
The recoil from firing Bazookie is key to getting around!
- Press Z in midair to fire downward for a small double jump.
- Firing to the left or right can help Nakko run faster or blast across gaps.
(There's slight recoil even on the ground; don't fall off small platforms!)
- Fire downward right after you jump, and it'll take you much higher than usual!
(Firing down just after jumping is very helpful when you want maximum height!)

@ Trigger Hamper Havoc
Bazookie's only hu... I mean, an organic lif... she's sentient, like you or me.
She thus needs time to work her non-literal magic, and she can't fire missiles
constantly. When the top-left bar is full, she's ready to fire; after firing,
it'll take a second or two to recharge. Destroying the seals may improve her
ability to fire missiles more rapidly, however...

@ Heart 3 Heart
Nakko starts with three hearts, so she can endure two hits. Later in the game,
she'll be able to trade in the rare Rox scattered around Ears for more hearts.
But until then, be careful with your three hearts, and take advantage of the
save points which can heal you anytime! (Heart boxes will also fully heal you,
but only once.) And if you want to check your health, hold Q to smooch Bazookie!

@ Rox Rock!
To emphasize, unless you really think you can handle having three hearts the
whole game, collecting Rox to get more hearts is highly recommended! Some may
seem tricky to get to, but get as many as you can manage to survive the later
parts of the game, which are full of very, uh... damaging situations!

- WHY IS THIS GAME SO HARD -

I don't know! It could be a lot harder. But if you're really dying a lot, you
may want to consider Easy Mode. To start on Easy, enter on the title screen:

Right x7
Left x5

Easy Mode starts you off with ten hearts, so you can pretty much get hit a ton!
(Note: You can get up to ten hearts on Normal, and ten is also the max on Easy.)

On the other hand, there's also a Hard Mode of sorts. Enter this code for Hard:

Left x7
Right x5

Hard Mode is really no different from Normal, except you cannot save, and save
points will only heal you. It's not much, but I would consider it the best mode
for a speedrun. You know, given the expansive Nakko speedrunning community.
