Following the final release of Touhou Mother, an anonymous Japanese fan (with permission from S-tele) remade all the character sprites.
Additionally, later on, Shadow443 and MikoSpark (AKA Carefree Captain) created new versions of most of the enemy graphics.
This English translation now uses both of these as default graphics, but the old graphics can be restored if you wish.

--- Instructions for Restoring Old Graphics ---
Note: If you want to be able to switch back to the "new graphics" (the defaults), you should first go into the "Data" folder and make a backup of the Battle, CharSet, ChipSet, GameOver, Panorama, and Picture folders.

The "Old Graphics" folder should contain its own Battle, CharSet, ChipSet, GameOver, Panorama, and Picture folders. These contain all the graphics from the original release that were modified.
Copy these subfolders from "Old Graphics" into the "Data" folder, and choose to replace all files when prompted.

--- Fun Facts (from Shadow443 and MikoSpark's readme) ---
These are just random things about the sprites.

- One of the main reason we started re-editing these sprite is because of how badly drawn the FOE was.
- The sprites we've done aren't in any particular order, though we wanted to take care of the ones that bugged us the most first.
- We believe that the mask that Sakuya wears is a reference to the mask that is worn by the guy in the maid dress from "Kamen No Maid Guy."
- After watching NakaTeleeli's Let's Play, we were confused as to why Alice's arm appeared to be a weird blue color. After playing through the Alice fight, we discovered that she actually had a duel disk on her arm and was referencing Yu-Gi-Oh.
- Because Cirno's Watermelon Blades are a reference to Advent Cirno, we made Cirno look more like her Advent version.
- Shadow443 also kept Entei without his censor bar.
- Programs used: MSPaint and Adobe Photoshop.
